MISSION IN PERU
"Orphaned children are equally deserving of unconditional support and love, the world is much stronger when the vulnerable are also strengthened."
I serve with Corazon De Esperanza, a nonprofit organization in Peru that offers transitional housing, support, and vocational training to orphans who have aged out of traditional care. They also provide essential services to at-risk youth in the community.
During my visits, I dedicate time to connecting with the youth, spending time at their orphanages, and building meaningful relationships through mentorship. I also sponsor a youth each year through my family’s personal income, not through donations, providing them with the support they need to build a brighter future.
In return for my time, I have gained family—beautiful Peruvian daughters and sons who are finding their way in this world. Against all odds, they discover their God-given purpose and learn how to flourish as young adults. I am the one who feels privileged to walk alongside them on their journey.
Robyn, the founder of Corazon De Esperanza, is my mentor, and I am deeply inspired by her dedication. I encourage anyone who has the time to invest in this nonprofit to do so—it will be an incredibly rewarding experience.
