It’s an opportunity to meet characters like Jimmy, a teenager escaping an abusive home, and Lauren, who aged out of foster care with nowhere to turn—stories that mirror the real struggles faced by so many in our community. You’ll also see Harris and Violet, veterans fighting battles both past and present, and Dora, a once-celebrated actress now facing mental illness and the isolation that comes with it.

Through this film, you’ll see how homelessness isn’t just about the people we notice on the streets—it also affects individuals behind closed doors, people who hold jobs and contribute to the community but still lack stable housing or access to basic necessities. And perhaps most heartbreakingly, there are the children behind the scenes who quietly suffer—those bouncing between shelters, staying with relatives, or sleeping in cars, struggling to focus in school while facing uncertainty about their next meal or a safe place to sleep.
