Amy is an experience soap maker and teacher. She has a YouTube channel showing her latest creativity in soaps. She also coordinates, schedules, and trains adult volunteer small group leaders for student ministries in her local church.
Lori has spent many years volunteering with the homeless, refugees, and foster children locally alongside some great non profits. She then visited Peru in 2014 with her daughter on a mission trip and was overwhelmed by the needs of the children and young women she met who were orphaned. She returned home with a passion and desire to continue her work full time, locally and globally. She actively devotes her time now to caring for kids and youth who are homeless, refugees, orphaned and beyond. She is active in her home church, a bible study teacher serving the refugee youth and the mother of 4 children.
Sandra Aguirre
Board member, Treasurer
Sandra lives in Olathe, Kansas and is a native of Chihuahua, Mexico. She moved to Kansas City at the age of 10 years old. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from UMKC. She works as a freelance Spanish Interpreter for several school districts and organizations. She is dedicated to assisting families as they work towards a successful assimilation, similar to the path that she experienced.
