March 2022
Annual Sock Drive

Socks are the #1 clothing need of those experiencing homelessness.

People ask, “WHY SOCKS?” And our answer is: Socks are something that most of us never have to think twice about. We get dressed, open up our drawer, and pull out our most comfy, favorite-colored socks.

But for children that don’t have a home, every day is about getting the basic necessities and socks are often a luxury item to them.  They go to school each day while often wearing shoes that are not the correct size, and with holes. If they HAVE socks they are typically worn out, dirty, and stiff.

We believe that when you donate socks you are making a social impact

"One pair of socks at a time!"

We are grateful to every person who donates SOCKS.

A special thank you goes out to the DoDEA schools that partner each year to hold a sock drive for us.

Thank you again to everyone who participates.

Sock Donation Drive!

In honor of National Read a Book week,

we are putting socks on children.

We serve children who are experiencing homelessness through our nonprofit Be Heartfelt. These children often live with no running water, in a tin shack and definitely no extra funds for socks and shoes.

Unfortunately, their needs are great. Please consider how you can help one of these children go to school with one less stress on their shoulders.
